Plainly stated. We collect as little as possible, sell nothing to anyone, and stand behind everything we make.
Terms of sale
Placing an order is an offer to buy; the sale is complete when we dispatch the piece. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout where applicable. We may correct pricing or description errors and will cancel and refund an affected order rather than fulfil it incorrectly.
One-of-a-kind pieces
Archive pieces are lined with reclaimed textiles, so the piece photographed is the piece you receive. Colour, grain and patina vary between hides and between screens. Variation is the product, not a defect.
Warranty
We warrant our construction — stitching, edges, hardware — for the life of the piece. The warranty does not cover ordinary wear, darkening of the leather, or damage from misuse. See Repairs under Shipping & Returns.
Intellectual property
All photography, text, the XKv mark and the Studio KVN name are the property of the studio. You are welcome to share our images with credit and a link; commercial use requires written permission.
What we collect
To fulfil an order we collect your name, shipping and billing address, email address and order history. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and never touch our servers. If you subscribe to the letter we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
How we use it
We use your information to make and ship your order, to answer you when you write, and — if you have asked for it — to send occasional notes about new work. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies required to keep a cart and a session. Analytics, when we use them, are aggregate and anonymous.
